? Full time – duration 1,5 years (3 semesters);
? Part time – duration 2 years (4 semesters).
Application requirements: BsC in engineering;
Masters program completion: Master thesis;
? 8 compulsory;
? 3 elective (out of 6).
Three practices – in Safety department of industrial enterprise; in regional safety
inspectorate; pre-thesis practice.
Acquired skills:
? Analyze and assess industrial risk and working conditions;
? Design and implement technical, technological and organizational decisions for prevention and minimization of industrial risks and improvement of working conditions;
? Undertake applied and scientific research in the field of safety engineering and labor hygiene;
? Train technical personnel and workers to detect hazards, assess risks and apply measures for their prevention or minimization as specified in the general and company labor safety regulations.
Possible realization:
? Safety expert in planning, consulting, industrial companies;
? Health and safety coordinator in social or syndicate programs;
? Safety inspector in government, public or private institutions in chemical, electrical, construction, exploration, service and other spheres; ? Instructor or trainer in specialized or technical schools.
