International cooperation and projects

The international activity of the UMG “St. Ivan Rilski” is managed by the vice-rector for international cooperation and projects. It encompasses participation in international educational and research programmes and projects, membership in international organisations, mutual cooperation with higher educational institutions in EU countries and worldwide, organisation and implementation of international events in the field of geology and mining, administration of international correspondence. The international cooperation of UMG “St. Ivan Rilski” with foreign universities is implemented through mobility of students and lecturers, participation in the development of joint research projects, scientific conferences and exchange of information about scientific fora of mutual interest; European educational and research programmes, prestigious international organisations and joint publication of scientific papers and results from different research.
